Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments and provide operations and maintenance for critical systems. The candidate will provide technical support in the design, development, implementation and testing of customer tools and applications.  Based in a DevOps framework, this role participates in delivering major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate

  • Assist with developing software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon

  • Assist with developing and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies leveraging an Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities

  • Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging infrastructure platform services creating innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers.

  • Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs

  • Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices while coordinating closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases

  • Document and perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leveraging GitFlow constructs and using industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Unix bash scripting

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficient experience with common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, and development practices

  • Proficient experience with Java, Angular, Spring and C2S and the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices

  • Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit or Katalon and scripting languages, such as Python, and Bash while working in an Agile development environment

  • Proficient experience developing in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS)

  • Proficient experience using version control and issue/problem tracking systems

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 or more years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • To be considered must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with structured analysis and design methodologies

  • Experience working on the customer's systems

  • Understanding of the customer's system development policies

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
