Entry Level Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Engineer - Military Veterans

Torch Technologies is currently seeking an Entry Level Analyst/Engineer to provide Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support for Aircraft Survivability Equipment. The position involves working with Digital System Models (DSM) of sensors and other components in a team centric environment on Redstone Arsenal. This is a multi-disciplinary software-centered team with engineering, computer science, mathematics, and physics degrees applicable.
Primary duties will include simulation execution, development of analysis tools and procedures, assessments of performance, pre- and post-flight data generation, and overall DSM capability enhancement. Interest in optical sensors, image processing, and statistical data analysis a plus. Experience with Linux as well as MATLAB, Python, C++ tools and programming languages desired. Some travel may be required in support of flight tests.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited college or university
- 0-2 years of experience
- Ability to understand Python code, with some experience with C/C++ and/or MATLAB
- Interest in Sensors, EO/IR concepts, or Image Processing
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Capable of working in a diverse multi-disciplinary group
- Position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain and maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for the position.
