Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager of Provider Data Management & CVO Operations leads the CVO, provider data management teams and related compliance activities for Mission Health System including all hospitals, Mission Health Partners and in collaboration with Provider Enrollment Department. Manages system-wide credentialing related to primary source verification for physicians, Advanced Practitioners and Allied Health Providers. Leads Provider Data Management activities to ensure accuracy and completion of provider data along with timely collection and distribution of information. Data Governance Committee Member and project team leader, responsible for implementation and development of Data Governances processes to establish MHS standard data element definitions and linkage between source systems.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Provides the direct operations management of the Credentialing Verification Organization. Establishes and assures objectives in order to accomplish department goals.
- Manages provider data management for Mission Health System.
- Manages and oversees credentialing software and database management.
- Manages quality assessment and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
- Leads the CVO team members to achieve goals while fostering the Great Place to Work and Practice journey.
What qualifications you will need:
Required Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent experience; demonstrated experience in hospital and health system credentialing.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Required License: Must maintain NAMSS Certified Provider Credential Specialist (CPCS) certification and complete Certified Professional Medical Services Management(CPMSM) certification with 2 years of start date.
Required Experience: Seven (7) years’ experience in Data Management, CVO, and/or Medical Staff Services and experience and knowledge with credentialing software
Preferred Experience: Ten (10) years’ experience with use of credentialing software, provider enrollment, and demonstrated supervisory experience.
