What you will be doing
The Irvine Distribution Center in Irvine, CA has an opening for a Truck Servicer in our Transportation Department.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Fueling and washing tractors and trailers, checking all fluid levels, checking all lights and tires.
- Changing Oil, Filters and tires, lubing equipment, BPM & APM services, and any other minor repairs which do not require a certified mechanic's knowledge.
- Tire Repair
What we are searching for
Qualifications:
-Ability to drive tractors and fuel tankers - CDL not required
-Ability to service vehicles
-Available for any shift
-Prior tire repair experience preferred
-Adherence, knowledge and understanding of Safe work practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and high places
- Ability to stand, walk and work in close quarter, prone position for lengthy periods occasionally.
- Exposure to potential hazards exist with respect to equipment, work areas, tools, welding equipment, presses and other power equipment.
- Working conditions consist of a non-temperature-controlled environment and exposure to outside elements while performing outdoor tasks on a daily basis.
