Homes Writer - Good Housekeeping Institute - Military Veterans

at Hearst

At Hearst UK, there's always more to the story. Join us as our Homes Writer - Good Housekeeping Institute - to start the next chapter in your career.

The Good Housekeeping Institute tests hundreds of products every year across the homes, food & drink, beauty & grooming, health & fitness and parenting categories. We've been rigorously reviewing products for over 100 years so that Good Housekeeping can recommend the best products on the market to their readers, from robot vacuums to running shoes. We're looking for a homes writer to join the Good Housekeeping Institute content team, writing across home & garden.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Homes Writer, you will transform the work the testing team does into engaging, thumb-stopping content that expands Hearst's online product review and ecommerce offering. You'll be writing and creating shoppable video content across our print, digital and social platforms, bringing the GHI's expertise and helpful advice to life wherever our readers are.

You will report into the GHI's head of content who is responsible for Good Housekeeping's ecommerce revenue and product review content. Day to day, you will work closely with the Senior Homes & Lifestyle Writer to deliver product review content and analyse performance, using those insights to inform future testing. You will also work with the rest of Good Housekeeping's editorial team, from the editor-in-chief to the social media manager, to ensure we're delivering what our readers want.
