Our client right outside of Philadelphia, PA is looking to add an Electrical Technician to join their growing team! Candidates suited for this role should have an Associates Degree and 1-5 years of experience with hands-on equipment, system build, maintenance, and service. Candidates need to understand how to read equipment layout drawings, wiring and schematics as well as having a general knowledge of testing electrical equipment including PLC, HMI, and voltage. responsibilities:






Always prioritize safety by adhering to local regulations and Company procedures, including the use of PPE.

  • Conduct project assembly and testing on equipment and systems in compliance with regulatory standards and following cGMP and GAMP guidelines for the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Collaborate with the Project Engineering team to ensure clear understanding of project requirements, effective communication, timely execution, testing, and project completion.

  • Attend internal project meetings as necessary.

  • Understand the requirements for Aseptic and Non-Aseptic Isolator Systems, ensuring their construction maintains proper pressure, airflow, and functionality for their intended applications.

  • Interpret and annotate General Arrangements (GA), schematics, P&IDs, and detailed manufacturing drawings according to required standards. Comprehend the electrical component specifications and Functional Design Specifications for client projects. Utilize project documentation such as Traceability Matrices, Engineering Design Calculations, Bills of Materials, Test and Validation Protocols, and Operating, Maintenance, and Safety Manuals during assembly and testing.

  • Troubleshoot complex process systems, including fans, pumps, control valves, instrumentation, and electrical/control systems, particularly those with PLC and HMI controls.

  • Provide assembly support for process equipment at the factory, ensuring the highest quality standards.

  • Construct ergonomic models from wood to replicate the full size of the overall system, enabling ergonomic trials with the customer to finalize the design.

  • Independently lead Factory Acceptance Tests, installation, Site Acceptance Tests, and client training activities, ensuring validation requirements are met and all paperwork is completed.

  • Perform servicing on equipment at client sites and generate detailed service reports.
