Employment Type: Permanent Faculty Vacancy ID: FAC0005470 Position Summary/Description: The Department of Medicine, in collaboration with departments in the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our growing team. This position will be Open Rank, Fixed Term. The ideal candidate could have an appointment in the Divisions of General Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Oncology within the Department of Medicine or in the Department of Family Medicine or the Department of Emergency Medicine. Candidates will be considered for positions within the clinical department aligned with their post graduate training. Clinical opportunities include inpatient and outpatient palliative care and inpatient hospice management. Faculty will have opportunities to excel and lead in medical education and research.
