Operations Specialist - Military Veterans

As an Operations Specialist you will be responsible for assisting with the operations at the IPEG facility and assuring that the site meets operations metrics. You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure that the team stays on track.  

  Location- Saint Louis, 63134

What You'll Do:  

• Perform shipping / receiving duties for the site along with all freight reviews including review and reporting on metrics



• Perform inventory management duties including reporting on metrics



• Review, approve, and code vendor invoices, process vendor returns, and review, follow up, and correct vendor invoice discrepancies as needed



• Review and follow up on picked tickets weekly



• Review and process customer returns, process credits and corrections as necessary



• Review, follow up, and assist with resolution of customer orders and disputes



• Review the direct order report routinely and take appropriate action as needed



• Review, follow up, and invoice orders at month end



• Perform office manager duties



• Perform duties as required by Operations Manager. 

  
What You'll Need:  

• Bachelor's Degree in related area of study (Business Administration, Engineering, etc.) preferred but not required



• 2+ years' experience in Operations or a related position



• Proficiency in MS Office, Knowledge of SXe (CSD) preferred



• Excellent customer service skills



• Excellent verbal & written communication skills



• Demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities and performing root cause analysis



• Must have a "can-do" attitude with a commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time."



• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate productively with other associates, customers, and vendors



• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, is dependable and highly motivated



• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail required
