Additional Information About the Role
- Sign on Bonus - Up to a $2300 Sign on Bonus
- Shift information: 8 - 4:30 4 days a week and 8:30 - 5 one day a week.
- Type of Clients: Any mental health client who walks in or are referred for services. This role is the “gate keeper” to all mental health programs within BJC Behavioral Health
- Location: This will be an onsite/Hybrid position (2 days virtual and 3 days in the office) at the Same Day Access Clinic - 3309 South Kingshighway Facility
- Ideal Skill Set: Strong clinical skills – must be licensed in MO (LPC/PLPC or LCSW/LMSW) - assessment skills with an understanding of SMI and SED diagnosis, triage assessment skills, to include screening for those who are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, Motivational Interviewing skills, Knowledge of treatment planning and use of SMART goals
- Job responsibilities: Working as a team member who provides screenings for level of needs, crisis support, referring to internal and external resources, completing intakes that includes preliminary diagnosis and SMART treatment plans.

Overview
BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.
