Faculty Position, Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics, NYU Grossman School of Medicine, New York, New York.
The NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, is either seeking a full-time neonatologist who will be on the clinical or clinician-educator track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on experience and qualifications. This position will involve clinical responsibilities primarily in 2 level 4 NICU at NYU Langone Medical Center & Bellevue Hospital Center.
Both are NICU's are large level 4 academic unit's providing care for patients with all medical and surgical neonatal diagnoses. The Division of Neonatology has 12 faculty and 8 neonatal-perinatal fellows. NYU Langone Medical center has approximately 6000 deliveries and Bellevue Hospital Center has around 1400 deliveries annually. Combined NICU admissions between the two hospitals is around 1500 annually and the combined level 4 NICU beds between the 2 hospitals is 75.
There is an active neonatology fellowship and pediatric residency program, so there will be a significant teaching component to this position. In addition, depending on the mutually agreed up academic track, well-qualified candidates may be expected to pursue additional academic activities based on interest and opportunities or needs within the division.

Salary Range:
$260,000-$270,000
The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors
Requirements include board certification or eligibility in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest and abilities in clinical care and will have excellent interpersonal skills.
