Responsibilities:
The Materials Planner in this context plays a critical role with responsibilities spanning materials planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination, the individual in this role helps maintain a delicate balance between ensuring adequate raw materials are available for production without creating excess inventory. Their work supports the overall efficiency of the supply chain by aligning material deliveries with the production schedule and demand forecast, ensuring that materials arrive on time and that products are shipped correctly to the warehouses.

Tier 1
- 0-3 years of experience in a purchasing, demand planning and/or materials planning experience
- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Performs routine and/or repetitive tasks.
- Applies basic skills using procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials.
- Strong organization and task prioritization skills
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office software skills and a demonstrated ability to develop Excel spreadsheets.
Tier 2
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 2-5 years of experience in a purchasing, demand planning and/or materials planning experience
- Strong analytical skills
- SAP knowledge and use
- Strong organization and task prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software skills and a demonstrated ability to develop Excel spreadsheets.
Tier 3
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or min 5 plus years of experience in a purchasing, demand planning and/or materials planning experience
- Regularly works on tasks that are varied and complex.
- SAP knowledge and use
- Applies full range of specialized skills and job knowledge; frequently adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials to meet specialized needs; performs broad and/or focused assignments under general supervision.
- Advance competency in Microsoft Office software skills and a demonstrated ability to develop Excel spreadsheets.
