Machinist - Level 2 (GD&T experience required) 2nd shift - 3:45pm- 12:15am - Military Veterans

As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a

crucial role in operating and maintaining various machines to produce

high-quality precision parts. You will work with a team of skilled technicians

and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer

requirements. Your expertise in machining processes will be instrumental in

ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our manufacturing operations. You will

report directly to our Machining Supervisor and you'll work out of our Columbus,

OH location. In this role, you will impact the production process by operating

and maintaining machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring the timely

completion of orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and maintain various machines to produce precision

parts
Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and

consistency of parts
Follow production schedules and prioritize work to meet

customer demands
Collaborate with other departments to optimize production

processes
Maintain a safe and clean work environment

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret

    blueprints (GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances)).
  • Ability to troubleshoot

    material issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to

    use additional measurement tools, such as ID Micrometers, internal

    calipers, go-no go gauges
  • Demonstrate ability to

    operate CNC, Mill Lathe, and or Manual machine safely and productively

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot

machine issues
