Overview
F&W Pest Control of MA is looking to hire a full-time, entry-level Pest Control Technician. This is a position for those with little-to-no previous experience in the pest control industry, though prior experience is always welcome.

Responsibilities
As a Pest Control Technician, you are the face of our company, and your primary focus is to exceed customer expectations! As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform pest control related functions, and schedule and run your own route!
You Will...
- Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program
- Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s home
- Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
- Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

Qualifications
What do you need to be successful?
- No Experience Required – we will train you!
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers
- We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.
What will my work environment be like?
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
