Our client in NY is looking to add an Installation Field Engineer to their growing team! We are looking for individuals who are open to extensive travel with a valid passport, and experience with installation of equipment. You will be overseeing the installation, startup, and technical support of client equipment among other duties as well. Candidates for this role will need at least a 2 year degree, 4 years of engineering experience, and at least 2 years of servicing equipment. responsibilities:

Oversee the installation of equipment to engineering drawing standards.
Act as the liaison to the customer during the installation and startup phase of the machine.
Coordinate and manage contractors during equipment installation.
Resolve issues and implement corrective actions with support from Project Managers, Engineers, and equipment suppliers.
Provide instruction to machine operators and maintenance personnel on proper maintenance and corrective actions.
Coordinate Mechanical Quality Assurance checkouts at the customer site.
Be familiar with optical alignment of equipment using tools such as Theodolite, Optical Levels, etc.
Offer technical assistance to the customer in troubleshooting and servicing client equipment.
Update drawings according to "as built" specifications and return them to the lead engineers.
Perform alignment of motor couplings, drive belts, sheaves, and other mechanical drive arrangements.
Submit service reports.
Provide feedback to the Manuals Department regarding equipment setup.
Demonstrate electrical knowledge.
Be a hands-on, self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Windows, and have a working knowledge of Excel and Word software.
Be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.
Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, as well as electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Be able to plan and schedule your own daily activities.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Be aware of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
