Program Transition Manager - Military Veterans

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Program Transition Manager to join our team in Fairfax, VA on a hybrid basis.  As a Program Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition of programs within our organization. You will manage the transition schedule, administration, and support, including customer interactions and briefing sessions. Your leadership will be crucial in hiring and supervising assigned professional and support staff, analyzing current processes, and fostering continual service improvement.

Responsibilities of the Program Transition Manager:

• Oversee the transition schedule, administration, and support, including customer briefings and interactions.
• Recruit and manage professional and support staff.
• Evaluate current processes and workflows to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Promote continuous service improvement.
• Guide the team to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of projects and tasks.
• Ensure the timely completion of transition schedules and tasks.
• Collaborate with customers, other teams, and vendors to achieve team success.
• Oversee project completion, change requests, and incident resolution to maintain service availability for customers and users.
• Conduct critical analysis of current solutions and recommend appropriate solutions that provide security, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
• Stay updated on new technologies, industry best practices, and trends.

Qualifications of the Program Transition Manager:

• 10+ of government contract program or transition management execution.
• Experience with successful program transition execution.
• Hands-on experience in executing successful transitions of $1B+ programs with more than 500 employees.
• Effective communication skills with customers, suppliers, employees, and previous incumbent stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• PMP and or ITIL certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
•  Active U.S. Government Public Trust Level security clearance required

Compensation of the Transition Program Manager:

·      Salary Range: $160,000-$210,000 **depending on experience**

·      Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
