Job Description Description: Applicants are invited for a post-doctoral researcherposition within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at theUniversity of Maryland, School of Medicine, in Baltimore. The selected candidate will be involved inNIH-funded clinical neuroimaging and cognitive research study in Parkinson'sdisease. Opportunities will be providedto learn about clinical research, behavioral and neuropsychological assessments,as well as image processing in collaboration with our image processingengineers. Writing manuscripts and applying for independent research grantswill be strongly encouraged. Qualifications Requirements: The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. from anaccredited college or university in neurosciences, psychology, biomedicalengineering, or other related fields. Ideal candidates will have one to three(1-3) years of relevant experience in cognitive systems and/ or clinical neuroimagingresearch, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Previousexperience in neuroimaging research or research in Parkinson's disease or agingis preferred. Working knowledge ofstatistical analysis software and for imaging processing of structural andfunctional MRI data (e.g., SPM, FSL, AFNI, Neurobehavioral Systems) is highlydesirable.
