Maintain Continuity Among Maintenance, Production, Mill and Warehouse Teams Through Proper Communication
  • Industrial Mechanic A with a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Mechanic Work Experience
  • Proficient-Level Knowledge of Industrial Mechanical Systems, Mechanical Troubleshooting
  • Proficient-Level Ability to Diagnose and Repair Mechanical Systems
  • Set of Standard and Metric Tools (up to 1-14" standard, 34mm metric)
  • Ability to Operate a Mobile Computing Tablet for PM Work
  • Satisfactory Safety Record

What do you bring?
  • Industrial Mechanic A with a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Mechanic Work Experience
  • The Mechanic A will be tasked to engage, maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot Board Line Plant equipment at a Proficient-Level position. The Mechanic A will be expected to perform at the PROFICIENT-LEVEL classification.
  • Respond to Equipment Failures in the Plant, Diagnose and Repair
  • Maintain Continuity Among Maintenance, Production, Mill and Warehouse Teams Through Proper Communication


Union Pay Transparency

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this Maintenance A position which is $33.57 per hour and for Maintenance B position which is $31.86, plus potential swing or grave shift differential of $0.80/hr for swing shift and $0.90/hr for graveyard. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for attendance an annual bonus. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:
  • Shift Differentials as stated above
  • Standard Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)
  • Double Time as stated in the CBA
  • Attendance Incentive for Meeting Company Attendance Requirements per the CBA
