Group Accounting & Reporting
Group Accounting verify and reconcile all reporting per legal units so that everything is timely and correctly reported in relation to expectations, previous periods, new accounting policies, operational changes, M&A's and acquisitions or divestments, etc. Furthermore Group Accounting is handling all external reporting, regulatory changes, audit, Cognos Controller maintenance, tax questions, group allocations, group adjustments and consolidation of the legal financial statements. The team is also subject matter experts for the whole group when it comes to accounting.
The Position
We are looking for a Group Accountant to join our team. You will have joint responsibility for the Group's consolidated financial statement, perform analysis and group financial controlling and you will take an active role in improving IT tools etc. to "work smarter". You will be a part of a Finance team with a collaborative spirit, sharing best practice and supporting each other to achieve excellence. You will report to the Head of Group Accounting & Reporting and be based at our office in Gothenburg.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and positive Group Accountant with good collaboration skills. You have a background in accounting, reporting, financial controlling, annual report process and compliance. To be successful in this role, it requires large ability to collaborate with many stakeholders with focus on delivering quality, reliability in data, meeting deadlines while being a team player.

Your responsibility include:

• Preparation of the consolidated financial statements
• Controlling and analysis of financial data and consolidated reports
• Production and quality insurance of quarterly and annual reports
• Management and continuous improvement of group consolidation system (Cognos Controller)
• Provides financial advice and recommendations to operational issues by applying financial principles and practices.
• Support on different reporting and accounting matters for subsidiaries
• Prepares ad-hoc reports as required by management.
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Your experience

You have a Master's degree in accounting or finance with a few years of accounting experience, preferably in consolidation and group accounting. Knowledge in IFRS is a requirement. Experience from one or several consolidations systems, preferably also experience in system administration is a plus. You have practice from working with tight deadlines and with high flexibility. You are an open-minded team player with ability to work independently and as part of a team. You are fluent in English and Swedish, verbal and written.
