District Talent Lead - Military Veterans

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Actively source candidates for key high volume retail positions using on-line tools, social media, community relationships, networking, mining resumes data base, etc.
• Direct District recruiting efforts, in-store events, community partnerships, represent company at job/career fairs
• Provide timely and accurate communication with applicants and business partners regarding the hiring process
• Participate actively in our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts; sourcing candidates from a variety of sources to increase the diversity of our recruiting pool
• Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to elevate our employer brand
• Post jobs internally and externally
• Organize and manage career fairs, attend local job fairs, college/campus, schools, outreach programs, recruiting events, etc.
• Coordinate and participate in new store or grand reopening in assigned district
• Develop creative ideas for recruiting
• Source candidates, conduct and schedule interviews, and assist with onboarding process to ensure a positive new associate experience
• Ensure recruiting signage and marketing is displayed properly across districts
• Champion change management efforts with an improvement mindset driving the One Best Way (OBW) model
• Assist in onboarding and coordinating the training for new Personnel Coordinators
• Provide guidance to store PCs on recruiting, retention, and HR related administration, as needed
• Ensure store PC's get timely information on changes or updates important to their role
• Compliance with all Company policies and applicable laws
• Other duties as assigned
