Program Manager - Military Veterans

As a Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing customer funded development programs (RevCOGS) within the Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) Customer Business Team (CBT). Your expertise in program management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell.

You will report directly to our Sr. Program Manager and work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

This customer-facing role requires strong leadership skills, negotiating ability, creative thinking, and the capability to achieve results essential to the success of CBT initiatives. You will be responsible for managing program scope, objectives, and deliverables, as well as coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and achieve project goals.

Key responsibilities:
Manage matrixed program team(s) to achieve business objectives of the BDS CBT.
Communicate complex program management and financial issues to all levels, effectively linking program performance with financial results and product line strategies.
Develop and actively maintain a risk register to capture and categorize all program risks and opportunities.
Approve resource requirements and cost estimates while leading integrated program teams through the Integrated Product Delivery & Support (IPDS) Process.
Generate and implement program plans and business requirements within approved budget and schedule constraints.
Employ PM tools and development processes, including earned value management (EVM), statement-of-work (SOW), work-breakdown- structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE) management, scope / requirements management, scheduling, and cost management.
Establish and own a programmatic Management Operating System (MOS)
Partner with Program Control (PC) team member(s) to review and analyze cost and schedule metrics to make data-driven resource decisions.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of program management or project engineering experience.
Proven expertise using Earned Value Management tools and processes to manage complex program schedules and budgets.
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.

WE VALUE
Experience with civil and military regulatory authority certification.
Working knowledge of USG and FAR contracting requirements.
Constructively assertive; high bias for action; integrative problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated relationship management, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically while tactically setting goals and tasks scope.
Ability to execute to plans while effectively managing risks and opportunities.
Strong communication (oral and written) and executive presentation skills.
