Supplier Quality Systems Specialist - Military Veterans

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Associate Supplier Quality Systems Specialist to join the Quality Team located in El Segundo, CA.

This position will assist in support of process improvement projects at critical program suppliers for Boeing El Segundo Receiving Inspection activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
  • Documents audit and assessment results.
  • Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance.
  • Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • More than 1 year of experience in a quality job role
  • More than 1 year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
  • More than 1 year of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • More than 1 year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • More than 1 year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • More than 1 year of experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory
  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
  • Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience with regulatory requirements
  • Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $75,650– $102,350


Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
