Senior Manager, HR Technology - Military Veterans

JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Mgr, HR Technology will use broad HR technology expertise to support the projects, processes and initiatives of the HR Line of Business customer population. Experience in project management, business needs analysis, system configuration and design, system documentation, data integration and testing will be critical. Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems like Oracle HCM, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle OTBI & Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher and other collaborative HR applications such as Compensation, Recruiting, and Employee/Manager Self Service is recommended. The Sr HRT Manager will be expected to build effective relationships and lead cross functionally to complete assigned tasks and deliverables.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of HR Technology Analysts, Consultants and/or Program Managers.
Act as liaison between HR Line of Business customers and Corporate HR Operations by planning, conducting and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved by technology
Serve as subject matter expert and ensures effective management of current systems, processes and programs through the understanding of line of business specific needs and analysis/assessment of system capabilities
Develop business requirement definition and functional specifications for application development, modifications and/or configurations
Responsible for conducting work flow analyses, evaluating system changes required to support line of business specific HR functions, and designing and implementing test plans to validate those changes
Adhere to SDLC, HR Technology change control practices/processes, SOX policies and practices, and audit requirements and procedures
Successfully manage and sustain Line of Business HR relationships including maintaining awareness of strategic business direction and potential impacts to HR processes and systems
Act as central point of contact for HR Operations issues that cannot be managed within the Line of Business
Oversee subordinate supervisors or managers; has the authority and exercises independent judgment to hire, direct, transfer, promote, discipline, discharge or reward other employees, or effectively recommend such action
Work with cross-functional teams in a matrix department environment
May assign, train, schedule or oversee work of others while leading HR Technology projects without performance management responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Operations across multiple functions
- Ability to apply a broad, integrated perspective when planning, problem-solving and assessing cross-functional impacts. This includes identifying critical steps, activities, and upstream/downstream impacts
- Proven experience developing, verifying and writing business & functional requirements, applying configuration changes, conducting workflow analyses, and documenting test plans and scripts
- Experience executing test (QA) deliverables and certifying integrity of automated solutions and programs
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and public speaking skills with ability to communicate complex information to all levels of the organization
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
- Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
- People Management Experience - 3+
- In-depth knowledge and working understanding of enterprise –wide HR systems (Oracle HCM Cloud Applications) - 5+

- Oracle HCM Cloud Applications
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
- Human Resources Information Professional certification (HRIP)
