Grant Coordinator - Military Veterans

Are you a talented writer with a passion for making a difference? We’re seeking a skilled writer to join a dynamic nonprofit organization in Ontario, CA. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to use your writing expertise to help our nonprofit elevate its mission, engage with the community, and drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and edit compelling content for various communications, including newsletters, social media posts, grant proposals, press releases, and website content.
Collaborate with team members to develop messaging that aligns with the organization’s goals and values.
Craft engaging stories that highlight the impact of our work and the voices of the people we serve.
Help build and maintain relationships with media outlets and partners through effective written communications.
Assist in developing creative and persuasive copy for fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a writer, preferably in the nonprofit sector or a similar field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Creative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience with social media, email marketing, and website content management is a plus.
