Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Carpenter to join our team in Springfield, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Utilize general knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures
- Construct commercial office space by providing overall O&M capabilities, with limited supervision
- Basic framing/ drywall installation and finishing
- Suspended ceiling installation/repairs
- Carpet removal and installation including cove base
- Repair and maintain plant and office facilities equipment and demonstrates advanced skill level in these areas
- Interpret basic schematics and diagrams
- Provide guidance to less experienced employees
- Review customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities, under general guidance
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment
- Frequent reaching above shoulder level, climbing, kneeling, bending, and continuous standing
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Ability to obtain an adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph post-start
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35lbs
- Customer support or service experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active Top Secret /SCI with Counterintelligence or Full Scope polygraph
- Experience working with a government customer

Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900
