The Mission Integration Manager (MIM) position includes the duties of our existing first line managers along with the addition of other key responsibilities. This position commands a management focus on proactively integrating and optimizing all operational elements to ensure excellent service performance and smooth delivery of services for the launch community. This is achieved by providing managerial support and input into institutional and program boards, panels, reviews, pre-test briefings, and working groups related to mission activities. In addition to the aforementioned items, the MIM would serve as the main Managerial Point-of-Contact (POC) for all operational support and key events. Other duties would include but are not limited to the following items:
Primary Responsibilities:
i. Develop, promote, and foster good relationships and communication with the operational stakeholders throughout the various organizations such as NASA EGS, NASA IT, NASA CCP, NASA LSP, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Lockheed Martin, etc.
ii. Provide Managerial oversight for all scheduled and real-time operations.
iii. Prepare the Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) documentation used to demonstrate Key Event support readiness as required.
iv. Represent KIAC and Communications Services Systems at Readiness Review meetings to demonstrate preparedness to support.
v. Prepare, deliver, and present Briefings prior to Key Events/Support for both the internal KIAC team and external customer to outline our technical approach used to satisfy requirements.
vi. Organize and oversee the performance of pre-Key Event system walk downs and inspections of launch processing areas as outlined in the PWS and ensure discrepancies are documented and resolved prior to event.
vii. Organize and oversee the performance of post-Key Event system walk downs and inspections of launch processing areas and ensure discrepancies are documented as outlined in the PWS.
viii. Prepare, deliver, and present Post-Key Event debriefing for both the internal KIAC team and external customer to report successes, failures and lessons learned.
ix. Coordinate funding requirements and approvals for all operational support requirements not included in the standard catalog offerings.
x. Ensure appropriate level of safety, quality, and security for all operational support is impacted and provided when required.
xi. Perform oversight and auditing of timecards for personnel supporting mission related activities to ensure proper charging has been followed.
xii. Ensure frame control procedures are being followed and updates to the frame status are being maintain according to the support schedules.
xiii. Provide Mission Integration Manager Console support for all Key Events including major tests, launches, and landings as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field Excellent time management skills
Must be able to communicate clearly, articulately, and professionally with customers, upper management, and at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for productive collaboration across varying departments Able to successfully organize, lead and direct large teams of people Must have appropriate schedule flexibility, sense of urgency, motivation, and versatility to make a substantial contribution to the organization’s success Willingness to work “above and beyond” to meet company/contract goals. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Proven problem solver who can make clear-headed decisions while under pressure. Highly experienced with project coordinating and management.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Must have direct experience with KSC Voice Systems, including PAWS (Paging & Area Warning), Emergency Communication LAWI System, OIS-M, OIS-Q2, Direct & Trunking Radio Systems, and various Voice Recording Systems.
• Must have direct experience with KSC Video Systems, including SD, HD, IR (including MOODY Software), IP Cameras, and TELEMETRIC camera controllers.
• Must have direct experience with KTM Optical Trackers, 16mm Photosonic Cameras, 35mm Photosonic Cameras, High Speed Digital Cameras, and POCS II Control System.
• Must have experience with KSC Infrastructure for Copper and Fiber Circuits, including oversite into new designs, cost projections, installation timeline, and project closeout.
• Conduct Post-Incident and Root Cause Analysis reviews.
• Incorporate lessons learned into the day-to-day operations of the AEGIS Contract. Communicate significant lessons learned to relevant internal and external teams.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
