Job Description: Ashland University's Dwight Schar College of Education is seeking applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in education administration. The candidate will lead the principal program, teach graduate level courses focused on the principal, superintendent, and educational leadership programs, and hold a scholarly agenda. This is a full-time position starting Fall 2025. [ NOTE : Ashland University's College of Education is searching one position at either Lecturer (non-tenure track) or Assistant Professor (tenure track) level. This advertisement is for the Assistant Professor position.) Support Ashland's philosophy of Accent on the Individual. Teach hybrid and online courses. Contribute to the discipline through scholarship. Collaborate with multiple faculty across programs in curriculum revisions and continuous improvement efforts. Support adjunct faculty. Participate in committee work and service to the Department, College, University, and professional associations. Support continuous improvement in the College of Education. Engage in service on Ashland's main campus and other affiliated centers (e.g., Columbus), as necessary. Conduct other related duties, as assigned. Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate in educational leadership, educational administration, or closely related field Current principal license Minimum of five (5) years of full-time P-12 school level leadership Knowledge of the State of Ohio requirements for educational leadership Applicant Portal URL: 6947
