Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for inventory management? We’re looking for a Material Control Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our production process running smoothly by tracking, managing, and distributing materials with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Track and maintain materials, ensuring accurate records through ERP/MRP systems. Safely store, rotate, and distribute supplies.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure seamless material flow.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials, and dispose of expired materials following company standards.
Process Efficiency: Assist in measuring, mixing, and redistributing chemicals and supplies as needed. Reconcile and update inventory records to match production requirements.
Problem-Solving: Interpret production schedules and work orders to ensure materials are available on time and in the correct quantities.
Reporting & Documentation: Compile status reports, including production rates, inventory counts, and supply levels.
Key Skills & Qualifications:

ERP/MRP Experience: Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly “Genius” or equivalent, is a plus.
Inventory & Order Management: Solid experience in inventory tracking and order processing.
Safety Knowledge: Awareness of safety protocols, especially regarding hazardous materials.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to interpret production schedules and work orders and make quick decisions.
Leadership Experience (Optional): Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Education & Experience: High school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
