Sr. ISSO - Military Veterans

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior ISSO to support various clients in the DoD or intelligence communities. This position will be on-site in Raleigh/Durham, NC. The Senior ISSO will plan, manage, coordinate and provide support to ensure that the completion of all Assessment and Authorization activities per a variety of policy guidelines.
Responsibilities of the Senior ISSO include:
- Ensure the completion of all Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities per ICD 503, NISTs, CNSSI and other DoD and/or Intelligence Community policies
- Creating System Security Plans (SSP)
- Maintain compliance with all applicable CONMON requirements
- Conduct weekly audits, vulnerability scanning, briefings, and reviews of SSPs as required
Qualifications for the Senior ISSO include:
- 5+ years of experience as an ISSO
- In depth knowledge of ICD 503 and NIST SP800-53 Information Systems requirements
- Strong experience implementing DISA STIGs
- In depth knowledge of various WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, AWS
- In depth knowledge of various compliance tools; ie, Tenable Security Center, HBSS, Splunk
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph U.S. Government clearance.
Compensation for the Senior ISSO include:
- Salary Range: $155,000-180,000
- Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
