The National Security Sector has an opportunity for a TRILOS Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for PEO Missile and Space (MS) TRILOS terminals. This position will support the Warfighter Readiness program located at Fort Eisenhower GA. The candidate will provide training and support at all customer locations, general maintenance, and systems integration support. This position will require travel up to 30% CONUS and OCONUS.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will analyze and diagnose malfunctions and problems related to the system, its components and all supported software.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training on the system.
- Work independently and as a team member.
- Responsible for reporting issues, changes and development status in accordance with the Project Communications Management Plan.
- Effectively instruct the TRILOS terminal
- Additional Duties:
- Design and validate RF link performance, quality and reliability
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment
- Support PEO-MS engineers in the field
- Optimize existing network by adjusting radio network parameters, adding/deleting of neighbors and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems
- Monitor and analyze statistical and test data to improve system performance
- Apply propagation theory, cellular theory, RF Engineering tools and antenna theory to choose access point placement
- Conduct project work in a safe and professional manner
- Brief equipment capabilities to command teams
- Instruct classes
- Assist in development of Technical Manuals and Training Package
- Support vendor driven events (EW testing, new equipment)
- Work with other Army Organizations for equipment validation (NSIB, ACM, ATEC, CASCOM
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree with 2 or more years of experience. Additional years of directly related experience can offset the degree requirements.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Signal Knowledge and experience with TRILOS and Blue Sky Mast.
- Basic spectrum management understanding.
- Must have experience with Field support.
- Experience instructing in classroom and over the shoulder.
- Experience with total systems troubleshooting.
- Current US Passport (Upcoming missions in Guam, Samoa, US VI, PR, Germany, RoK, Italy, AfriCom AO)
- Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Experience Erect mast systems.
- Must be able to erect mast systems up to 30lbs at 100ft.
- Must be able to travel 30% CONUS and OCONUS.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
