As a Director of Advanced Manufacturing

As the Director of Advanced Manufacturing
Engineering for the Engine and Sower Systems (E&PS) engineering team, you will
partner with the core EPS development and test engineering teams to drive
producibility, high yield, and low cost into the mechanical designs during the
NPD phase of the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for advanced manufacturing engineering initiatives in the aerospace industry.
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies specific to aerospace to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to optimize aerospace manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with aerospace business objectives.
- Identify and implement cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies.
- Analyze aerospace manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export
control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent
resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
- Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization in the aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in aerospace manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Expertise in implementing DFM and DTC advanced manufacturing technologies and processes around in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with Mechanical Design and Manufacturing
- Experience with APQP
