A manufacturer of sealed insulating glass (IG) and smart glass units for the window market is looking for a Maintenance Technician in their Fargo, ND location. This company is the largest residential glass supplier in the US, with 40+ facilities located throughout the country. This organization is a management-owned company founded in 1962 that has grown to more than 7,000 employees.
The company is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a solid background to troubleshoot, diagnose maintain and repair electrical and mechanical glass production equipment. Also, any electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus. They have large industrial machinery for coating and tempering glass. Most of the glass they manufacture is for residential homes.
They are looking to hire strong military techs who are problem solvers and want to learn and expand on their skills. They provide lots of on OJT and cross training. They are open to candidates with strong mechanical aptitude. Any electrical is a plus.
Weekend shift Friday - Sunday 12-hour shifts. You will be paid for 40hours. Overtime is available based on business needs.
Base salary, $65K - $75K plus profit share bonus after 60-90 days. They have hit their production bonus for 5 years in a row. They have full benefits and offer a 401K.
