Sales Support Specialist - Military Veterans

About the Role:
Are you detail-oriented and looking for an exciting new challenge? Join us at Yardi as a Sales Support Specialist and become a vital part of our dynamic Sales team! In this role, you'll prepare and process new business paperwork and provide general sales support to Yardi's Sales department. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial as you develop and refine the knowledge and skills required to draft, review, and administer standard to complex sales contracts. You'll be a key asset in updating our Customer Relationship (CRM) system, monitoring email communications, and working with various internal departments to support Yardi's sales efforts to establish new business relationships with clients.
What You'll Do:
- Support assigned Sales team following Yardi's established contracting and sales support procedures.
- Draft paperwork for Yardi products using prescribed templates and including standard business, legal, and billing terms in compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Work with Team Leader to review deviations from standard terms; submits deviations for approval and tracks progress.
- Monitor and respond to email communications with clients and other Yardi teams through a shared inbox.
- Assist Sales team with opportunity setup and administrative tasks to ensure proper licensing, billing, and reporting.
- Update the internal CRM system; records all client activities, licensing, pricing, and contracting per training guidelines.
- Track daily tasks and time worked within the internal CRM system following team processes and productivity requirements set forth by management.
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with high responsiveness in all forms of communication (email, phone, messaging systems, etc.).
- Solid grammar, spelling, and composition skills, including basic math skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret legal, accounting, and technological terminology.
- Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness to navigate a frequently changing environment.
- Ability to provide good customer service.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and in a group.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Ability to learn from and collaborate with team members, other departments, and clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- One (1) year of experience in legal or sales contracting, sales administration, and/or sales support.
- Client-support experience.
