Transportation Clerk - Military Veterans

The Transportation Clerk oversees and maintains all Vehicle Maintenance Administrative Duties as defined under Major Duties and Responsibilities. Carries out all duties in accordance with USAF mandatory requirements. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Create and maintain training records in WRRMS and monitor recurring training requirements.
  • Create and Maintain all TMDE records in WRRMS and verify the accuracy of WRRMS and PAMS listings.
  • Create and maintain air certification letters and Level 4 and 6 Details Database, and coordinate with TMO.
  • Input and maintain QMS records as outlined in the current PWS.
  • Initiate and maintain DD Form 1149's in HQAFSC Database.
  • Initiate and maintain HAZDEC documents.
  • Create and maintain annual leave forecast.
  • Monitor and submit monthly reports.
  • Maintain and take LRC tasking pictures IAW WRM WI's and SOP's.
  • Track and monitor section RFI Suspense's.
  • Assist in the Annual Vehicle Inventory.
  • Coordinate all DBIDs and Base Access Issues with Section Management, Human Resources and Security.
  • Prepare weekly production meeting slides.
  • Maintain daily time tracker.
  • Create and maintain section safety briefing log.
  • Hazwopper monitor.
  • Support other departments as required to accomplish overall departmental objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Works in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.
  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Excel and Word programs.
  • Must be familiar with Amentum Work instructions and Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Must have successfully completed HAZDEC Training or be able to complete formal training.
  • Must have successfully completed HAZWOPPER Training or be able to complete formal training.
  • Must be able to obtain favorable Host Nation and Home Country clearance letters as needed for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
  • Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
  • May be required to operate material handling equipment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have three years' experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in a vehicle maintenance environment. Must have on year experience with DI QMS.
  • Will be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
  • Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
  • Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
