Cyber Range Software Engineer 3 - TS/SCI w/Poly - Military Veterans

In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.
Working with a team of other Software Engineers, System Administrators, Network Engineers and Systems Engineers supporting the Cyber Range, you will develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Support Cyber Security Defensive Operations with configuration of Cyber Range consisting of 100s to 1000s of VMs utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (must have), Terraform, Ansible, VMWare and other automation technologies.
- You will work closely with Hunt, Red and Blue Team operators to understand their desired configurations for the Cyber Security Range to support training, force on force exercises, and mimicking of customer infrastructures.
- You will be part of a larger development team supporting the Cyber Security Directorate's Defensive Network Operations organization with direct mission support activities when not working on the Cyber Range.
Requirements:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and Python
- Experience with networking and virtualization
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational tools
- Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, application behaviors, and network traffic analysis
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and working with flexible customer requirements
Clearance Required:
- TS/SCI Poly
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or Master's degree in plus 6-years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
Preferred:
- Experience operating in an agile development environment and DevOps
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of penetration testing or red team operations
- Experience utilizing and development with Splunk
- Experience with Nutanix
- Defensive Cyber Security Operations

The base salary range for this position is $180K to $195K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
