Content Strategy Specialist - Military Veterans

The Content Strategy Specialist will own the execution of content strategies that improve the customer journey and deliver measurable business results. This role emphasizes optimizing user experiences, leveraging data-driven insights to improve engagement and conversions, and providing strategic recommendations to partners. 

What you´ll do: 

1. Content Strategy and UX Journey Optimization 

• Develop comprehensive content strategies tailored to different stages of the buyer’s journey, with a focus on B2B audiences. 
• Partner with UX and design teams to optimize website and digital touchpoints for user friendly experiences.
• Conduct content audits and gap analyses to find opportunities for improvement and new content development. 

2. Business Insights and Strategic Recommendations 

• Leverage performance data and business insights to make proactive recommendations.
• Keep track of industry trends.

3. Customer Engagement and Teamwork 

• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams.
• Influence partners to  prioritize user needs while meeting business goals. 
• Act as a trusted advisor, driving proactive engagement and ensuring agreement for content-related projects. 

4. SEO as a Supporting Function 

• Use SEO knowledge to improve content discoverability and ensure alignment with search optimization best practices. 
• Conduct keyword research and integrate findings into content plans to improve organic visibility. 
• Supervise and report on SEO metrics as part of a broader performance analysis framework. 

5. Performance Analysis and Continuous Improvement 

• Track content performance metrics such as engagement, conversions, and lead generation, providing actionable insights. 
• Provide clear reporting and updates to partners, showcasing the impact of content initiatives on business outcomes. 

What you´ll need:

• 5–8 years of experience crafting and implementing content strategies with measurable business impact. 
• Experience aligning content with UX principles to improve customer experience and engagement. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 
• Experience in B2B marketing.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms and data visualization tools to support performance reporting
• Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs to support content strategies. 
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and drive alignment across teams.

• Hybrid role in The Woodlands, TX.
