Events Marketing Manager - Military Veterans

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for marketing events? We are looking for a Marketing Events Project Manager to lead and manage department-driven marketing events, ensuring the successful execution of strategies and plans. In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring event success, overseeing budgets, and conducting market and competitive research to support our revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:
You will collaborate with product and marketing partners to develop and implement strategies for individual events, ensuring that goals are met. You will also identify and coordinate creative requirements such as graphic themes, messaging, design, and floor plan layouts.
You will manage all aspects of pre-show planning, including submitting exhibitor/sponsor contracts, payments, booth space selection, and staff registration. You will assist field teams with logistics as needed.
You will oversee corporate and field trade show properties, including hardware, graphics, inventory, maintenance, and storage, ensuring that all items are properly accounted for and maintained.
You will work closely with suppliers, including production companies, contractors, freight companies, and promotional item suppliers to ensure smooth coordination of event logistics.
You will handle show logistics, including shipping, booth setup and tear-down, promotional items, demos, equipment, and staff training, ensuring that all elements come together for a successful event. You will also source and maintain inventory of booth supplies and giveaways.
You will establish and track budgets for trade show expenses, ensuring that budget requirements are met and analyzing show expenses year-over-year.
You will conduct post-event evaluations to assess strengths and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will process leads from corporate shows and follow up on results.
You will work with cross-functional marketing teams to create and execute strategies designed to drive traffic to the event booth and maximize engagement.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in event management, marketing, or project management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing suppliers/vendors.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies based on performance.
Budget management experience.
Knowledge of trade show logistics and booth operations is a plus.
