How will you make a difference?

As the Senior Solution Architect - Product Cybersecurity, you will lead the development and delivery of cybersecurity solutions for operational technology (OT) environments. This role will require you to demonstrate strategic thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to influence across a diverse set of stakeholder groups. You will need to leverage a deep understanding of cybersecurity trends, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver innovative solutions that align with business priorities and customer needs. You will also play a critical role in representing the organization as a thought leader within the industry, shaping its direction in OT security.

What do we want to know about you?

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to lead and influence at a strategic level, building alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders in a highly collaborative fashion.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in OT cybersecurity, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions that address complex challenges.
  • Understanding of OT security technology product categories and related technology trends.
  • Knowledgeable of industry standards, including IEC 62443, and secure development methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and connect with audiences at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an associate's degree with additional years of experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP) and advanced technical education are strongly preferred.

What will your typical day look like?
  • Define and drive the development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Introduce new secure development methods, including memory-safe languages and modular approaches, to enhance operational efficiency. Advocate for secure development practices across the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth technical research to identify novel approaches to both offensive and defensive cybersecurity challenges.
  • Design modular and scalable security solutions to enhance serviceability and profitability.
  • Drive repeatability and standardization in solution development to improve organizational agility.
  • Influence and guide cross-functional teams toward achieving secure, scalable solutions that address customer needs and long-term business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate complex cybersecurity challenges with tailored solutions.
  • Provide guidance on security standards, such as IEC 62443, ensuring alignment with customer architectures and compliance requirements. Ensure all solutions align with current and future regulatory and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about global cybersecurity trends and apply those insights to the organization's strategy and solutions.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and elevate technical capability within the organization.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between
$89,100.00-$126,900.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com . Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
