Reporting directly to HCM Senior leadership , this role works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of programs that enhance s the department's academic standing and support its reputation for excellence and innovation in HCM education. The Associate Director of Partnerships and Special Programs is instrumental in shaping the HCM department's future by fostering strategic collaborations, delivering exceptional events and programs, and driving initiatives that solidify its position as a leader in human capital management education. This position is located in our Midtown Center location - 20 W. 43rd Street. Responsibilities Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Master's Degree Required Experience: 5+ years in higher education, professional/corporate education or development, global events programming, and budget analysis. Preferred Experience: Background in human capital management is strongly recommended preferred. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong project management experience with a proven ability to manage multiple global projects simultaneously. Must be able to work well in a fast-changing environment and possess creative problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience and expertise in event planning and execution, including the ability to manage logistics, plan event content, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. Business development experience, with the ability to engage external clients and foster long-term partnerships. Exceptional writing skills and marketing capabilities. Technological proficiency with tools such as Asana, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, and other project management software. Strong analytical skills for budget planning and evaluation. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience with design platforms such as Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator Qualifications In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $100,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
