Description: The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to Extension Specialists within the Youth, Family, and Communities Unit at Cooperative Extension, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The role involves managing day-to-day activities, including answering calls, drafting correspondence, maintaining databases, coordinating travel arrangements and reimbursements, and handling mail. The position requires the independent execution of various tasks, including some technical duties, to support program functions. Additionally, the role involves applying in-depth program knowledge to provide guidance and advice regarding specific program operations, ensuring efficient and effective program delivery.
