Description: Research Associate will be responsible determining the food quality and safety of alternative protein foods and collaborating with industry partners in the development of innovative products from alternative protein sources (ie.,insects, vegetables, etc The candidate has the responsibility of assisting with providing and maintaining quality laboratory facilities and learning experiences for the CEPHT's students. The Research Associate must conduct research expected at the doctoral level, assist with preparing grants/contracts for extramural funding, meet project deadlines, and publish research findings in reputable scientific journals. Primary Function of Organizational Unit: N.C. A&T is a public, land-grant, doctoral research institution and has been the largest historically Black university in the country for the past decade.
