About the Position: We are seeking a qualified Massage Therapist to provide professional and engaging wellness therapies to our clients. You will offer a full range of treatments to fulfill different client needs and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage techniques, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor. Responsibilities: Perform high-quality massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other specialized techniques; Assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate treatments; Create and maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes; Ensure the massage room and equipment are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained; Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service; Adhere to all applicable local and state regulations and licensing requirements; and Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends. Required Qualifications: Valid Massage Therapy License in the state of Virginia; Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Massage Therapist; Proficiency in various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage); Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries; and Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
