IT Audit Manager

Overview:
The IT Audit Manager leads and manages IT audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role assesses IT risks, evaluates controls, and enhances IT governance, risk management, and security practices. The position collaborates with audit professionals, IT teams, and business units to align IT systems with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Execution: Develop and implement risk-based IT audit plans, manage audits, and oversee co-sourced audit providers.
Risk & Compliance: Identify IT risks, evaluate controls, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., FDICIA, NIST, ISO).
Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise audit staff, coordinate with internal/external auditors, and engage with stakeholders.
Reporting & Communication: Present findings to IT management, senior leadership, and the Audit Committee.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging IT risks, recommend enhancements, and improve audit methodologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP.
5-7 years of IT audit experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
Expertise in IT controls, risk management, and governance frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO).
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PowerBI and CoPilot is a plus.
