Senior IT Specialist - SECRET - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Senior IT Specialist to support an long-term federal program supporting the USMC located in Kansas City, MO. The Senior IT Specialist will support field services and provide a broad scope of IT support for end users, enterprise network devices, and data systems for a critical DOD network.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
Responsibilities of the Senior IT Specialist:
- Ability to lead, mentor, and act as the escalation point for a team of Junior IT resources
- Troubleshooting hardware/software/network devices/peripherals
- Management and delegation of IT support tickets in the Remedy queue to ensure timely and effective problem resolution
- Act as the Tier 2/3 escalation point for IT support tickets and customer requests
Qualifications for the Senior IT Specialist:
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Experience with tier 2 and tier 3 IT support
- Experience with Remedy, Active Directory and ServiceNow
- IAT Level II (CCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS)
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field
- Active Secret Clearance
Compensation for the Senior IT Specialist:
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000/year *depending on experience*
