JOB SUMMARY: Entry level front line fundraising role responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual and individual gift donors. They collaborate on prospect engagement events and manage a portfolio of 100 donors and engage colleagues to move donors through a pipeline from annual to individual giving . This position supports the nine academic schools and units associated with the North Campus. The ideal candidate will have an interest in fundraising for student scholarships, faculty support, research, annual funds and additional fundraising priorities as determined. JOB DUTIES: Donor Mana gement : Responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 100 annual and individual gift donors and p ersonally conducts 90-120 , high-value personal visits annuallywith prospects for annual and individual giving. Strategic Planning and Execution: Helps to identify major gift and planned giving prospectswithin personal portfolio and collaborates with otherfundraising units to maximize gift potential. Utilizes fundraising strategies and method or activities toensure proper acknowledgement, recognition, andstewardship of donors. Relationsh ip Building : Identifies , cultivates and solicits philanthropic support bydeveloping and maintaining relationships with individualsincluding alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and other keypersonnel; fosters positive and enduring relationships thatproduce reciprocalbenefits. Builds working relationships with and serves as adevelopment liaison to other fundraisingunits . Representation and Networking: Serves as development representative at school-based events,meetings, etc., related to donor engagement as applicable. Communication , Docume ntation , and Compliance : Regularly updates database systems with prospects andprojections. Analyzes weekly fundraising reports. In partnership with Gift Processing, ensures all commitmentsfollow gift guidelines and are tracked and received in a timely manner. Travel : Travels locally and out of town to cultivate, solicit andsteward relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Clear and Effective written and verbalcommunicationskills. Demonstrated passion forthe organization'scause and a genuine interest in fundraising anddevelopmentwork. Willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts, strategies and tools in the field offundraising. Ability towork effectively as part of ateam. Basic organizational and time managementskills. Accuracy and attention todetail Ability to engage with donors and stakeholders ina friendly and professional manner Basic networking and relationship buildingskills. Ability to self-motivate in a partially remoteworking environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree 0-3 years of experience in fundraising, development, non-profit organizations or a related field Valid Drivers License also required
