Associate Director of Student Activities & Robert Reid Director of the Baylor Chamber of Commerce Job Identification: 18041 Posting Date: Job Schedule: Locations: Degree Level: Job Description: What We Are Looking For The Associate Director of Student Activities and Robert Reid Director of the Baylor Chamber of Commerce will serve as the primary advisor to the Baylor Chamber of Commerce, providing guidance and oversight for university-wide spirit and tradition initiatives. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's degree and seven years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. *All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. What You Will Do Serve as the primary advisor to the Baylor Chamber of Commerce, overseeing significant programs such as the Baylor Line, Homecoming, Family Weekend, Diadeloso, and the Live Mascot Program Act as a liaison with Student Life and other stakeholders, providing strategic leadership Coordinate staff meetings, manage leadership and community engagement programs, and encourage professional development Analyze reports, prepares budgets, and supervise Baylor student functions and special events Facilitate leadership development programs and ensures organizational effectiveness Exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission Ability to comply with university policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance What You Can Expect As part of the Baylor family, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous time off, tuition remission, and outstanding automatic retirement contributions.
