As a Test Engineer Sr, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a cornerstone of our nation’s defense. Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement detailed Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) from engineering specifications and releases to ensure compliance and efficiency.

- Develop and maintain Standard Work documentation to streamline processes, enhance consistency, and improve efficiency.

- Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts for electrical, avionics, and systems integration issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.

- Collaborate with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify and validate engineering requirements during testing phases.

- Innovate and refine testing methodologies to boost production efficiency, improve reliability, and enhance the performance of the F-16 fighter jet.

Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in manufacturing testing and troubleshooting. With a hands-on approach, you excel at developing Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) and Standard Work documentation to enhance efficiency and compliance. You collaborate closely with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify requirements and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of aerospace systems. Always striving for innovation, you continuously refine testing methodologies to optimize production and improve aircraft performance.

This position is in Greenville, SC Discover Greenville.

Shifts may include first (0600-1630), second (1600-0230) and split shift as required by business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Flight test experience - specifically mechanical

10 years aerospace or related experience

Experience working with Hydraulic, Fuel, Landing Gear, Jet Fuel Starter, or Engine Systems, E&E, ECS/Bleed Air, Flight Controls mechanical, Oxygen System, EPU.
Desired Skills:
Bachelors Degree or pursuing
• F-16 Mechanical Experience
• Yellow / Green Belt – Lean
• Experience developing work instructions / test documents
• Prior service or field experience a bonus
• Experience with Systems Engineering and Production Operations to quantify, validate and coordinate requirements-Software programming
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with E&E, ECS, Flight Controls.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
