Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • Estimated annual base pay: Level 1- $70,880(minimum) - $88,600(midpoint) - $106,320(maximum)
  • Estimated annual base pay: Level 2- $89,520(minimum) - $111,900(midpoint) - $134,280(maximum)

What You Will Be Doing

Level 1 - Risk & Resiliency Project Manager I
  • Tactical Responsibility: Coordinate/lead multiple projects of medium complexity
  • Strategic Responsibility: Presents and represents project status to customer and Woodward managers
  • Strategic Responsibility: Participates in profit planning processes
  • Strategic Responsibility: Accountable for scope change management: responsible to orchestrate with the accountable leaders and team to be responsive to customers, project schedule, and deliverables
  • Strategic Responsibility: Support continuous improvement
  • Tactical Responsibility: Lead and present project updates for management reviews, provide written updates, and status reports
  • Tactical Responsibility: Drives risk management process
  • Tactical Responsibility: Drives schedule performance to meet commitment dates
  • Tactical Responsibility: Plans, reviews, and improves project cost
  • Tactical Responsibility: Drives total cost of ownership processes
  • Tactical Responsibility: Project resource management
    • Tactical Responsibility: Develop, deploy and analyze survey tools to support identified initiatives
    • Tactical Responsibility: Develop and enhance internal and external information systems (i.e. dashboards)
    • Tactical Responsibility: Monitor 3rd party portals to identify external risks to the enterprise, production, and the supply base.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Initiate and monitor action plans addressing identified risks.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Assess and identify supply chain risks to the Enterprise in Geopolitical, Macroeconomic, Natural Disaster, Supplier Recovery, Cybersecurity, Financial, OTD, and quality risk areas.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Model potential risk events to develop preventative action plans.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Develop standard work processes and risk assessment models
    • Tactical Responsibility: Lead 3rd party assessment initiatives supporting risk assessment evaluations of the supply base to include Tier 1, 2, 3 and lower suppliers.
  • Tactical Responsibility: Works across business and departments outside of specific functional area to break down barriers that may prevent project success
  • Strategic Responsibility: Coordinates project activity with appropriate leaders, team members, and customer


Level 2 - Risk & Resiliency Project Manager II

  • Tactical Responsibility: Coordinate/lead multiple projects of med-high complexity, multiple sub-projects, and/or cross location
    • Tactical Responsibility: Develop, deploy and analyze survey tools to support identified initiatives
    • Tactical Responsibility: Develop and enhance internal and external information systems (i.e. dashboards)
    • Tactical Responsibility: Monitor 3rd party portals to identify external risks to the enterprise, production, and the supply base.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Initiate and monitor action plans addressing identified risks.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Assess and identify supply chain risks to the Enterprise in Geopolitical, Macroeconomic, Natural Disaster, Supplier Recovery, Cybersecurity, Financial, OTD, and quality risk areas.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Model potential risk events to develop preventative action plans.
    • Tactical Responsibility: Develop standard work processes and risk assessment models

  • Strategic Responsibility: Participates in enterprise trade-offs between projects
  • Strategic Responsibility: Provide mentoring and consultation to lower level project managers
  • Strategic Responsibility: Participate in strategic planning/profit planning processes
  • Strategic Responsibility: Accountable for scope change management: responsible to orchestrate with the accountable leaders and team to be responsive to customers, project schedule, and deliverables
  • Strategic Responsibility: Evaluate and implement continuous improvement. May include authoring documents and standards
  • Tactical Responsibility: Lead and present project updates for management reviews, provide written updates, and status reports
  • Tactical Responsibility: Drives risk management process
  • Tactical Responsibility: Drives schedule performance to meet commitment dates
  • Tactical Responsibility: Plans, reviews, and improves project cost
  • Tactical Responsibility: Drives total cost of ownership processes
  • Tactical Responsibility: Project resource management
  • Tactical Responsibility: Manages across business and departments outside of specific functional area to break down barriers that may prevent project success
  • Strategic Responsibility: Coordinates project activity with appropriate leaders, team members, and customer


What We Are Looking For

Level 1 - Risk & Resiliency Project Manager I
  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
  • 2-5 years Experience in specific functional area or Project Coordination required


Level 2 - Risk & Resiliency Project Manager II
  • US - Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Business Administration or international equivalent preferred
  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain required
  • 2-5 years Experience in specific functional area (Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing) required
  • 2-5 years Project Management required
