Description
Leidos is seeking a Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) and Resource Advisor (RA) to support the ongoing operations of a customer based in Nevada.
Primary Responsibilities
The UDM /RA is responsible for all administrative functions for personnel that are deployed to accomplish the customer mission and is responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating all related resources. Estimated effort is expected to be split 70% for UDM and 30% for RA.
Duties
Duties of a UDM include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD)
- Prepare and process individuals for deployment or re-deployment to/from operational, exercise, and other locations according to the needs of the customer and based on applicable guidance
- Coordinate and Schedule required pre-departure training with the deploying personnel and pre-deployment training provider
- Coordinate Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 2A training requirements
- Procure, maintain and distribute individual deployment equipment specified by applicable organizations, utilizing current host facility guidance
- Develop, brief, and execute implementation plans to meet reporting requirements
- Prepare and submit a list of requirements for purchase to customer leadership in support of mobility requirements
- Develop movement plans and coordinating with appropriate transportation system service provider to plan and execute movement plan
- Physically prepare deployable material for customs inspection into or out of the home-station
- Interface with customer-designated commercial travel office, customer transportation liaison officers, and unite resource advisors to arrange and deconflict deployment travel
- Coordinate with customer and higher headquarters offices on deployment issues and maintain documentation per applicable requirements
- Provide technical guidance and recommendation to senior leadership regarding unit deployment program
- Design, manage, conduct, oversee, track, and acquire deployment readiness training
Duties of an RA include but are not limited to:
- Formulate annual unit operating budget for incorporation into the program office’s annual financial plan
- Evaluate trends and operating costs used in projecting future commitments and obligations
- Review, edit, and consolidate unit budget estimates to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures
- Analyze funding shortfalls and develop recommended programming changes/mods to be presented to unit leadership for approval
- Prepare, justify, and submit unfunded and unprogrammed requirements through the appropriate decision maker for consideration
- Develop recommendations for budgetary adjustments to support unanticipated changes in program operations of funding
- Monitor the use and rate of unite expenditures to identify potential over or under obligations of operating funds
- Assist unit with purchases, working with appropriate agencies to facilitate all facets of the acquisition process
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience; 2-4 years) and 8+ years of prior relevant experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience managing deployment reporting in Air Force deployment reporting tools
- Minimum of 7 years experience using LOGMOD
- Minimum of 7 years experience managing wing deployment planning and executing operations from an installation deployment readiness center
- Must currently possess a TS/SCI clearance with willingness/ability to obtain a Polygraph
- Must be willing to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Resource Advisor or financial planner experience
- Experience on a COCOM or component staff as a logistics planner
- Military experience as a senior NCO (E-7) or higher

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
