Responsible for entering purchase orders for goods and services, processing invoices, and invoice reconciliation for dynamic laboratory research and development company. The primary objective of this role is to work with business stakeholders to support the continued success of R&D through effective purchasing/supply chain activities. Must have the ability to use specialized software, create and develop efficient work processes, along with the ability to communicate and work effectively within a multi-site environment.


 


Major Areas of Responsibility



  • Obtain goods and services in support of company business units.

  • Process and enter purchase order requests into SAP.

  • Maintain blanket purchase orders for numerous vendors and contract services.

  • Make credit card purchases and reconcile monthly spend.

  • Manage online accounts for all recurring vendors.

  • Communicate and determine scheduling with suppliers for pricing, order fulfillment and delivery.

  • Manage credits, replacements, and process returns.

  • Obtain and process invoices and enter receipts into SAP for goods and services.

  • Respond to & resolve vendor issues, including resolution of aged transactions, invoice/payment issues etc.

  • Run reports in SAP to ensure vendor payments/invoices have processed.

  • Responsible for setting up new vendor accounts in SAP and vendor maintenance.

  • Monitor and ensure purchase orders are adjusted as needed.

  • Assists stakeholders in resolving Accounts Payable issues.



 


Required Education /Skill / Abilities



  • High School Diploma is required.

  • Preferred Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.





  • 3 years of purchasing experience with some accounting experience.

  • Strong experience with SAP pertaining purchase orders and processing invoices.

  • Working knowledge of accounting software, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office.

  • Proven experience in managing technical and service-related Capital Expenditures.

  • Effective communication and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational and negotiating skills.

  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.

  • Ability to set, coordinate, and meet tight timelines. 



As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay is $28.85 to $31.25 per hour.
