Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking an academic leader to serve as the chair of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with an appointment as Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical, research and educational activities of the Department as well as collaborative activities with the other departments at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated institutions.
Candidates that meet criteria for a professorial appointment at Harvard will be considered. Candidates should possess exceptional leadership, managerial and collaborative skills. Additionally, candidates should have an established record as a mentor and a teacher, national recognition for research accomplishments, and be a proven leader with an international reputation in medical oncology.
This is a transformational period in Dana-Farber?s history with the planned collaboration with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Emphasis will be given to candidates who possess a track record of strong leadership and organizational skills.
